CAMPBELL RIVER - Environmental groups are banding together to raise concerns about water quality near Campbell River.

They say arsenic levels are extremely high in Long Lake, near the site of the Quinsam coal mine.

The groups are pointing to recent tests that show arsenic levels thirty times higher than the acceptable limits.

They are calling on the provincial government to investigate.
